I haven’t been checking The Reader for show alerts, because I haven’t been in the mood for crowds, and am trying to not be an ass with money…
I just found out that Diamanda is performing at The Museum of Contemporary Art tonight and Saturday, and both shows are sold out.
I am SO upset. This is the first time she’s come to Chicago since I moved back in 2008, and she actually played in Pgh a couple of months after I left. It was the first time she’d ever been in Pgh, of course. So, I never caught her prior to my leaving Chi, and have now missed her twice in just over three years. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
